Ash Eliza Williams, Dreams of a Night Beetle

Headstone is thrilled to announce Dreams of a Night Beetle, Ash Eliza Williams’ third solo exhibition with the gallery. The exhibition is comprised of small oil paintings that explore the world of a nocturnal beetle. Ash asks: What does the world look like to a very small creature? What does it feel like to carry around an exoskeleton? What does time feel like to a beetle? What do insects dream about? In this show, the inner life of a solitary beetle is imagined as vibrant, complex, and expansive as our own.
